On September 30, 2026, ten committed brands gathered at L’Imprimerie by DAY OFF (Paris, 11th arrondissement). It was the second Paris edition of Future of Break. They presented practical solutions for a more sustainable, healthier office. On the agenda: coffee breaks, catering, furniture, energy, greening and zero-waste services.
What Is Future of Break?
Future of Break is a collective of brands rethinking everyday life at the office. The starting point is simple: the break is a concrete, yet often overlooked lever. It helps reduce a company’s environmental impact while improving team well-being.
Five founding members welcomed five new partners. Each brand presented its solution, and visitors could talk directly with the teams.
The 5 Founding Members of Future of Break
Chacun Son Café: Coffee That Funds Climate Action
Chacun Son Café is the first B Corp-certified coffee roaster in France (certified since 2021). The brand supplies coffee, machines and solutions for home and office: coffee, of course, but also machines for businesses and after-sales service across France. Under its “One Cup One Cent” model, one cent from every cup served goes toward a reforestation program in the Congo Basin, as part of its “Let’s Catch Carbon” initiative.
BulkBar: Healthy Bulk Snacking at the Office
BulkBar offers companies healthy, zero-waste snacking solutions, with its BulkBar dispensers and BulkBottles. Present in Belgium, Luxembourg and France, the brand replaces industrial snacks with a healthy, sustainable offer designed for teams.
Source: Sustainable Drinks for the Workplace
Source wants to reinvent the drinks market by no longer shipping water and single-use containers to where drinks are consumed. The brand delivers its drinks as a concentrate, packed in a pouch inside a carton (the “bag-in-box” format). On site, you simply dilute it with tap water. One 3-liter carton makes 30 liters of drink and is equivalent to 90 to 100 cans. Less packaging also means less sorting and handling for teams, and a small storage footprint.
Kusmi Tea: The Art of Tea, Business Edition
Founded in 1867 in Saint Petersburg by Pavel Kousmichoff, Kusmi Tea settled in Paris in 1917. The house is now B Corp-certified and offers fully organic teas and herbal infusions, created and made in Normandy. Its blends of green, black and white teas, maté and herbal infusions bring a touch of conviviality to the break.
Cup Cleaner: Rinse Without Touching, Throw Away Less
The Cup Cleaner® is a contactless rinsing station for all reusable containers: mugs, water bottles, reusable cups. A container is rinsed in 2 seconds with just 2 cl of water, compared with around 1.5 liters in a sink. By making the switch from disposable to reusable easier, the station also supports compliance with France’s AGEC law. More than 250 companies have already installed it. BulkBar is also the official distributor of the Cup Cleaner® in Belgium and Luxembourg.
The 5 New Partners of Future of Break
Osol: Mobile Power for Flexible Workspaces
Osol starts from a simple observation: hybrid work calls for flexible, modular spaces. Yet those spaces stay rigid as long as employees depend on wall sockets. Osol’s solution, the “Flexible Power Network,” makes energy mobile. It frees teams from sockets, extension cords and chargers, and makes it possible to work anywhere, in the office or elsewhere.
MyFoodcourt: The Canteen Curated by Local Restaurateurs
MyFoodcourt reinvents corporate catering. The company selects local restaurateurs, sets them up in workspaces and manages the offer day to day. It positions itself in premium catering for offices, with the idea of turning employees’ favorite restaurants into the company canteen.
Maison Amarante: Floral Decor You Don’t Throw Away
Maison Amarante (La Fleur d’Après) is a Paris floral studio that creates made-to-measure, handcrafted silk arrangements. They require no maintenance. They are offered through a monthly subscription for offices, shops, hotels and events. The house promotes an alternative to fresh flowers (more than 80% of flowers sold in France are imported) and publishes its CSR charter.
Bluedigo: Refurbished Office Furniture
Founded in 2019, Bluedigo gives corporate furniture a second life. Its marketplace offers more than 20,000 refurbished pieces from more than 50 resellers. It also lists more than 30 brands of eco-designed, Made in France new furniture. In addition, it offers rental, refurbishment of existing furniture (Revive) and a space-planning studio. Its furniture has helped avoid the emission of more than 3,000 tonnes of CO₂ equivalent.
aKagreen: Plants for Living Offices
B Corp-certified and a member of “1% for the Planet,” aKagreen greens workspaces with a biophilic approach. Its offer covers indoor greening (in pots, planters or built into furniture) and outdoor landscaping (rooftops, terraces, courtyards, patios) to foster biodiversity in the city. It also offers workshops for teams and GreenaKademy, an app that teaches employees how to care for plants.
What We Take Away from the Day
A sustainable office can’t be reduced to a single action. It is built on several complementary levers:
– The break: bulk snacks, responsible coffee and tea, reusable containers
– Catering: local cuisine, short supply chains
– Fit-out: refurbished furniture, plants, sustainable decor
– Energy: mobile solutions, no cables
A collective also offers something a single brand can’t: a coherent journey, where you move from one solution to the next in a single morning.
